Telling the unheard stories.

My passion for being a filmmaker comes from a lifelong goal to tell the stories of people who are underrepresented by society. 

​Being part of an ethnic minority, Zainichi Korean in Japan, I have been interested in tackling the social issues and inequality surrounding me by using moving images since childhood. To follow my dream, I moved to the UK for my master's degree in Filmmaking and wrote, directed, edited my first short film

"Beauty Is The Beast" in 2022, which had a successful festival run.

The film was a social realism piece with an entire cast of East Asian backgrounds.

I have been pursuing my career in Film and HETV and was selected as an Edit Trainee for Screen Skills Trainee Finder 2024/2025.
